CFM's product line includes six engine models that are tailored to the aircraft applications they power. From the initial CFM56-2 to today's Tech Insertion CFM56-5B and CFM56-7B, our engines are the most sought-after in the industry.

LEAP The CFM LEAP-1B will be the exclusive powerplant for the Boeing 737 MAX family of single-aisle aircraft (737 MAX-7, 737 MAX-8, 737 MAX-9).
CURRENT ENGINES
CFM56-7B The CFM56-7B is the exclusive engine for the Boeing Next-Generation single-aisle airliner (737-600/-700/-800/-900/-900ER/BBJ).
CFM56-5B The CFM56-5B is the engine of choice for the A320 family, having been selected to power nearly 60 percent of the A318/A319/A320/A321 aircraft ordered.

In 2005 and 2006, 35 out of the 36 new A318 Elite and A319 Corporate Jet owners chose to power their aircraft with CFM56-5B rather than an alternative engine. The CFM56-7B is the sole power for the Boeing Business Jets (BBJ) series.
