AMSTERDAM – 28 October 2026 – Patriot Dynamics and CFM International today announced an agreement for the leasing firm to purchase three LEAP-1A spare engines and three LEAP-1B spare engines to support Airbus A320neo family and Boeing 737 MAX family operators.
This is the first purchase agreement between Patriot Dynamics and CFM.
“This agreement is an important step in our strategy to expand our spare engine portfolio while successfully scaling and diversifying our fund structure,” said David Rojas, Partner at Patriot Dynamics. “We recognize the reliability, fuel efficiency, and performance of the LEAP engine family, and we are pleased to work with CFM to support our customers.”
“The LEAP engine family is at the forefront of commercial aviation, and we see tremendous long-term opportunity in supporting the growing demand for these engines,” added Michael Sheldon, Partner at Patriot Dynamics. “Establishing this relationship with CFM marks a pivotal milestone for our firm, and we look forward to building on it in the years ahead.”
“We are pleased to welcome Patriot Dynamics to the CFM family,” said Gaël Méheust, president and CEO of CFM International. “We look forward to providing the reliability, durability, and operating costs its customers expect.”
In the 10 years since LEAP engines entered service, CFM has delivered more than 10,000 engines that have accumulated over 100 million flight hours. CFM continues to upgrade the LEAP fleet with a high-pressure turbine (HPT) durability kit to extend time on wing and a reverse bleed system (RBS). The company is focused on delivering high engine availability through exceptional MRO performance and competitive cost of ownership, with the benefits of aftermarket competition through its open MRO ecosystem.
