VILLAROCHE, France — September 20, 2024 — CFM International has appointed Bénédicte Bonnet as its newest executive vice president, replacing Jérôme Morhet.
As a member of the CFM executive team, Ms. Bonnet will oversee the CFM56 and LEAP programs, in close collaboration with her GE Aerospace counterparts, covering all engineering, development, production, and support activities.
Ms. Bonnet joined Safran Aircraft Engines in 2005 as a mechanical engineer. Beginning in 2008, she led Safran Group’s cross-functional team developing ceramic matrix composites, then, in 2010, joined the Safran Materials and Processes Division.
Ms. Bonnet continued her career within the CFM56 technical team, first as deputy in 2015, then as CFM56 technical product manager for Boeing applications. In 2019, she became responsible for Safran Aircraft Engines Customer Support Product Engineering department for all civil aircraft applications.
Most recently, Ms. Bonnet served as Safran Aircraft Engines’ vice president for Quality, Improvement & Digital transformation.
In her new role, Ms. Bonnet will draw on her strong experience in both customer relationships and product leadership, as well as cross-functional project management.
