Exactly two years after the launch of our collaboration with Airbus to test the Open Fan architecture on an hashtag#A380 demonstrator, Pierre Cottenceau, VP Engineering and R&T at Safran Aircraft Engines, Frank Haselbach, SVP Head of Propulsion Engineering at Airbus and Mohamed Ali, Senior VP of Engineering at GE Aerospace, met again at Farnborough Airshow 2024 to discuss the progress of the RISE Open Fan test plan on the way to flight demonstration later this decade.
